Gingivitis is a common problem for many people and it is manifested by red, swollen gums, and bad breath. If it is left untreated, it can cause periodontitis.

The reason for this condition can be:

HERE ARE SOME HOME REMEDIES THAT CAN HELP YOU WITH THIS CONDITION:

Oil pulling

Oil pulling is an amazing remedy for your teeth. It has antibacterial and calming properties.

Swish a tbsp. of sesame oil in your mouth for 15 minutes.

Spit it out and wash your mouth with some warm water.

Repeat this process every day for a month.

Sea salt

Add a small amount of salt in some water and swish it in your mouth. Spit it out and repeat the process 3 times per day.

Tea bags

Boil some water and add a tea bag in it. leave it for 10 minutes and leave it to cool down. Apply the bag to your swollen gums and leave it for 5 minutes. Repeat as much as you can.

Chamomile tea

Chamomile tea will calm the inflammation and reduce the irritation.

Boil some water and add 2 tsp. of chamomile blossoms. Leave them covered for 10 minutes and then strain the mixture. Gargle with this tea as much as you can.

Aloe vera

Massage your gum with some aloe vera gel and leave it for 30 minutes before you wash it well.

You can also gargle with some aloe vera gel and drink aloe vera juice two times per day.

Tea tree oil

Add a drop of tea tree oil to your toothpaste and brush your teeth with it. Use it for one month and don’t swallow the oil.

Myrrh

Put 10 drops of myrrh tincture in some boiling water and wash your mouth with it. Repeat this process a few times per day.

Coconut oil

Mix 2 tbsp. of coconut oil and 2 tbsp. of baking soda. Use this toothpaste a couple of times per week.

Cranberry juice

Cranberry juice is rich in vitamin C and that is why, you should consume 4 ounces of it per day. You should also eat fruits that are rich in vitamin C such as strawberries, blueberries, papaya, red pepper, broccoli, etc.
